The country is currently battling with the second wave of Corona, but epidemiologists are anticipating the start of the third wave in September-October. In fact, WHO Chief Scientist Dr Soumya Swaminathan has said that key Kovid-19 indicators should be closely monitored to reduce the extent of a possible third wave.
